M.I.R.A Wicking Berry Orchard

Implementing an orchard of berries into your portfolio of product/sustenance is a good idea; for both the monetary value added to the farm and the antioxidants that stabilize your nutrition. In observance and my own experience of berry production the two threats to the system are consistently wildlife interference and PH control of the nutritional bank. For this reason, the use of the M.I.R.A wicking system is the perfect way to solve these issues along with increasing productivity. The AACT Keystone will provide soil conditioning solutions to develop a living soil contained in a controlled environment. Our environment will be wicking bins and pots with a macro nutrient dense substrate that self regulates moisture concentration by transpiring up from the water reservoir beneath. The IBC container will be filled with PH controlled water and liquid nutrients measured for the various stages of the berry plant with a conductivity pen. To best prevent wildlife distribution and to extend production, I plan to use the M.I.R.A Lg Passive Solar Greenhouse design to complete the system with the greatest number of controls. In the future, meshing the orchard with the M.I.R.A AI Constellation infrastructure in which will have nutrient solution automation, UV control, temperature control, humidity control, and etc.
